🎣 Exciting News from Fishing Direct! 🎣
Hey team, I’m Will Grant and along with my partner Nicole, we’re so excited to be stepping in as the new owners of Fishing Direct from 1 April 2025.
First opening in 2006, Fishing Direct has been locally owned and operated in Silverdale by Andy and Ange Dresser. They wanted to bring a range of the big brands and the best gear to New Zealand fishermen, at a price everyone can afford.
Growing up just down the road in Coatesville, some of my best childhood memories are the early mornings out with my old man, rods in hand, chasing that next great catch. That early passion has turned into a lifelong love for fishing.
Now, we’re here to carry on the epic legacy Andy and Ange built over the past 18 years in the local fishing community. We’re honoured to be picking up where they left off. Nicole and I, along with our three awesome kids, are stoked to take the reins of Fishing Direct. As a family, we’re all about good vibes, the outdoors, and creating memories.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just keen to give it a crack, we can’t wait to meet you, hear your stories, and be part of your fishing journey. Come by the shop, say hi to the team, and let’s talk all things fishing!
