Warranty & Returns

Your Guarantee

Customer satisfaction is our number one goal, which is why we sell quality fishing supplies manufactured by reputable companies, however if you are not completely satisfied with any product that is purchased from Fishing Direct NZ,  for whatever reason,  the item may be returned,  prepaid, within 30 days of purchase.  For more detailed information look in the RETURNS section of our terms of trade and or for any assistance email us at: sales@fishingdirectnz.co.nz

No returns are accepted on used items, items that are not in original condition, books, videos, software, or cut lengths of line, rigging, Netting etc.  Special order items are also non-returnable. Where line has been especially fitted to a reel, there will be no refund for the line, as chances are that next person to purchase the reel may not want the same line.

WARRANTY RETURNS

All freight incurred for any warranty claims or warranty returns are payable by customer.
It is normal business practice that goods are returned to place of purchase, or wholesalers premises at the customers cost.  Of course if the claim is a warranty issue, then you will not have to pay the freight for the repaired or replaced goods to be returned back to you. There are no exceptions to this proviso.

Returns

If you are not completely satisfied with any product that is purchased from Fishing Direct NZ,  for whatever reason,  the item may be returned,  prepaid, within 30 days of purchase.

We are happy to exchange or credit goods, if you have made a mistake in ordering or what ever the reason, but this can not be at our expense. We will deduct the full amount of shipping costs that have actually been paid by us to ship your product, plus you will have to pay the actual shipping fee for the replacement item if you are exchanging goods, for different size or model.  This helps cover the cost of packaging time involved in initial packing, subsequent unpacking, and inspection of returned goods.  As we heavily subsidize freight the actual freight cost of sending larger items can be high, so please order goods carefully.

We do ask that the item be returned in the same condition as received with all of the original paperwork.
