Caught these two snapper at Army bay using a longline with 21 hooks dragged it out with a kayak on change of light threw back 3 other snapper and took these two home for dinner with some beer battered fries. Took the set out around 650m in fair conditions and was stoked to catch a couple of keepers, hats off to my partner/photographer Zoe who reeled in the line while I pulled up the weight from fish, seaweed and bottle of sand (sinker) running up and down the beach to keep the strain off the reel. Defiantly going to be doing a lot more of this in the following months!
