SHIPPING WITHIN NEW ZEALAND


We only charge a nominal $5- per order on orders under $50, those orders over $50 will be sent freight free (for NZ Shipping main island, some rural deliveries may incur additional freight costs, please contact us if you are unsure).  We generally sent our freight by Fastway courier, unless specified your fishing tackle order will be shipped via the most economical carrier.

We ship 99% of orders on same day as order is received, however please allow 3-5 days for goods to be shipped, as sometimes, due to high amount of orders on some products, we may run out, and have to wait for stock replenishment to arrive from our suppliers.
 

We only ship goods to physical addresses, as couriers can not deliver to a P.O. Box. Also there is no cover on the goods delivered to P.O boxes so if the Post office say it was delivered to your box and it has gone missing your only redress will be to personally take the issue up with the Post Office.  However if a parcel is small enough to be sent to a P.O. Box and you don't provide a physical address as an alternative, then we may at our discretion send to that P.O. Box.

PLEASE NOTE: Check your Package carefully for any signs of damage, if goods are damaged in transit - DO NOT sign for them, once you have signed for goods, the couriers will not honor any claims. We pack goods exceptionally well and have very few claims for damaged goods. There will not be a problem having goods replaced if damage is noted to the courier prior to signing.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING


We ship parcels to: Australia, USA, Tahiti, New Caledonia, American Samoa, and England, and some others.  Each country has a minimum freight charge for each order to be paid at time of purchase, if the actual cost is to exceed this, we will notify you of actual cost, and request payment of the difference to be paid prior to us shipping the goods.

MAXIMUM SIZE OF INTERNATIONAL PARCELS;

Individual items ordered can be no longer than 1.5m and weigh no more than 30kg. Any items with liquid, as in Gulp Alive or fish oil, and all sprays cannot be sent internationally.

Customer satisfaction is our number one goal, which is why we prefer to sell quality fishing supplies manufactured by reputable companies, however if you are not completely satisfied with any product that is purchased from Fishing Direct NZ,  for whatever reason,  the item may be returned,  prepaid, within 30 days of purchase.  For more detailed information look in the RETURNS section of our terms of trade and or for any assistance email us at: fishingdirectnz@xtra.co.nz.

No returns are accepted on used items, items that are not in original condition, books, videos, software, or cut lengths of line, rigging, Netting etc.  Special order items are also non-returnable. Where line has been especially fitted to a reel, there will be no refund for the line, as chances are that next person to purchase the reel will want a different line class on the reel.

WARRANTY RETURNS

All freight incurred for any warranty claims or warranty returns are payable by customer.
It is normal business practice that goods are returned to place of purchase, or Wholesalers premises at the customers cost.  Of course if the claim is a warranty issue, then you will not have to pay the freight for the repaired or replaced goods to be returned back to you. There are no exceptions to this proviso.


Returns



If you are not completely satisfied with any product that is purchased from Fishing Direct NZ,  for whatever reason,  the item may be returned,  prepaid, within 30 days of purchase.

We are happy to exchange or credit goods, where customer has made a mistake in ordering or what ever the reason, but this can not be at our expense. We will deduct the full amount of shipping costs that have actually been paid by us to ship your product, plus you will have to pay the actual shipping fee for the replacement item if you are exchanging goods, for different size or model.  This helps cover the cost of packaging time involved in initial packing, subsequent unpacking, and inspection of returned goods.  As we heavily subsidize freight the actual freight cost of sending larger items can be high, so please order goods carefully.

We do ask that the item be returned in the same condition as received with all of the original paperwork.

Product descriptions, typographic, pricing and photographic errors are unintentional and subject to correction. We regret, but are not liable for, incorrect photos or typographical errors. We reserve the right to refuse any order, for any reason.

We use Auckland Saving Bank and DPS Payment Express to accept Visa and Mastercard payments.  DPS Payment Express is the number one payment gateway in New Zealand so you can be sure your credit card details are kept sate and secure.  All payment are in New Zealand dollars.

Your privacy is important to us and we will not do anything to violate your trust.  We treat customer information as strictly confidential and so it is never revealed to third parties.
